Announcements & Upcoming Events
Good evening, Brothers and Sisters,
The Stake was not expecting another temple service assignment at the Provo Temple as our normal time has been in the summer. However, the Temple has specifically requested our Stake to be the final Stake to clean the Temple and assist in the laundry prior to its closure. This is a special opportunity for us to serve in the Lord's House to express our gratitude for the many long years the Provo Temple has served the Saints of Utah County. The Temple has indicated cleaning help is higher priority than laundry, but we are asked to fill as many times as possible.
Our final cleaning schedule is from February 19-February 24. 18-20 volunteers are requested per night, and must be endowed members with current temple recommends.
This assignment could be in any area of the temple. Monday through Friday, the cleaning schedule is from 9:30-midnight. TAKE NOTE THAT THE TIME FOR SATURDAY IS DIFFERENT FROM THE REST OF THE OTHER DAYS- 8:00 PM TO 10:30 PM. Volunteers should bring their own pair of clean comfortable shoes (no open-toed shoes or sandals). The shoes do not need to be white. They should report to the front door of the Provo Temple to a member of the housekeeping staff and then proceed down to the meeting room #2 (by the cafeteria), in the basement between 9:30 pm - 9:40 pm. They will be issued white clothing and receive general instructions. At the end of their service, they will meet back together in meeting room #2 and leave the temple together. Please ask volunteers to drive through the south entrance to the temple parking lot which is up Temple View Drive and park as close as they can to the temple's front doors. Ask them NOT to come through the two west entrances to the parking lot as those entrances will be locked when they finish their temple service. Volunteers should bring their own pair of clean comfortable shoes (no open-toed shoes or sandals). The shoes do not need to be white. They should report directly to the laundry in the basement of the temple. They could bring their own white clothing (men can wear short sleeve white shirts) or the staff will issue white clothing. Everyone will then receive general instructions.Day Time Volunteers for the Laundry:

Please extend this invitation to those in Primary, Nursery, Young Men and Young Women so that they may have an opportunity to serve as well. GoogleDocs link is provided below to facilitate scheduling. Anyone with the link may edit the document.
